Job summary

Genesis Homecare Agency in Camden, AL seeks a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Care Aide to support clients with daily living activities in a Camden setting. You will deliver compassionate non-medical care in a respectful, patient, and supportive environment.

You’ll follow each client’s care plan, assist with ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and document changes in condition while partnering with a care team to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving certification is a plus.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Follow each client’s care plan to deliver tailored support.
• Provide supervision and companionship to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and changes in client condition.
• Foster a positive, respectful environment for clients.
