Job summary

Eminence Home Care, a home care provider, is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help clients maintain independence and receive compassionate care in their homes. Companionship, daily personal care, and assistance with mobility are core duties in this role.

We offer various shifts (full-time, part-time, flexible) with hourly pay between $19.00 and $22.00, based on experience. Join a team dedicated to dignity, safety, and supportive home-based care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related role preferred
• Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual and possess strong organizational skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and a negative TB test
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proven ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
• Support with meal planning and preparation based on dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure a clean living environment
