You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medications administration, light housekeeping, and transport to appointments, delivering dependable companionship and coordinating with family and clinical staff.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in Personal Care Assistance or related field preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience, especially in a home health or long-term care setting, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety, and medication administration procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and support clients and perform strenuous activities as necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Aufgaben

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning in and out of wheelchairs or beds.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and assist with nutritional needs.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and ensure clients adhere to their treatment plans.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organization of the living space.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including clients’ progress and any changes in their condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated care.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
