Job summary

Chosen Village Home Healthcare in Texas is hiring a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support clients with daily living activities and wellbeing. You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship in a home-care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or personal care preferred.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of medication administration is a plus.
• Basic cooking skills and meal preparation knowledge.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
• Support clients with memory care activities and cognitive engagement.
