Job summary

Chosen Village is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to deliver high-quality in-home care across Texas. This role focuses on daily living activities, companionship, and monitoring health to enhance clients' comfort and independence.

Candidates should have caregiving experience, strong communication, and a willingness to undergo background checks and training. Work is in person with flexible scheduling to meet client needs across Texas.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation guidelines.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
• Support clients with memory care activities and cognitive engagement.
