Job summary

Salus Homecare is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for morning shifts in Canoga Park, CA. Roles include companionship, personal care, and transportation support for a female client on an ongoing basis. Flexible hours available with options for part-time 4-6 hour shifts or full-time 8-12 hour shifts; rates range from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Training and benefits provided. Shifts begin immediately with fast onboarding.

Qualifications

• CA State Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required or can assist with obtaining.
• TB Test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Must be physically capable to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and auto insurance if driving with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a companion to clients.
• Arrive at clients' home punctually.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Turn, reposition, and move patients between beds, wheelchairs, and seats.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Notify office of any abnormal findings or conditions.
• Represent the company with a professional image.

Education

Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)
