Job summary

Right at Home Lake Norman/Charlotte is hiring dependable PCAs to provide in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults who need support with daily activities. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes to keep them comfortable, safe, and independent.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll perform personal care tasks, offer companionship, assist with meals and light housekeeping, and help with transportation when needed.

Qualifications

• PCA, caregiver, home care, or similar experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
• Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing meals and assisting with light household tasks
• Helping with laundry and keeping the client’s living area tidy
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with errands or transportation when needed
• Supporting clients with their daily routines
• Observing and communicating changes in a client’s needs
• Providing respectful care while protecting each client’s privacy and dignity
