Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist clients with daily activities in their homes. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, grooming, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures
• Proven work experience as a personal care aide
• Training in personal care aide duties is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens
• Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors office or to hospital
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
• Assist with client's exercise and outdoor activities
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals
