Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support clients with essential daily activities and comfort. You will provide compassionate, one-on-one care in patients' homes or facilities, helping with personal hygiene, meals, mobility, and companionship.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure patient needs are met. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of verifiable experience in personal care.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to care sites.
• Ability to document notes regarding a patient's condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting and meals.
• Help with daily living tasks like light housekeeping, shopping, meal prep, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation to patients.
• Coordinate with nursing staff by communicating patient needs and scheduling appointments when appropriate.
