Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support patients with daily hygiene, nutrition, and living activities. You will provide companionship, assist with errands and coordinate with the nursing team to meet patient needs.

We value compassionate, detail-focused caregivers who can work various shifts and navigate the healthcare system. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required, with a patient-centered approach at the core of our service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care
• Attention to detail; able to follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting and nutritional intake
• Help patients with daily living tasks like light housekeeping, shopping, meal prep
• Provide companionship and conversation; small interactions matter
• Help patient navigate healthcare by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to nursing team
