Job summary

The Cambridge Assisted Living & Memory Care in Smyrna, GA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and promote independence. The role emphasizes health, safety, and comfort, with two shifts: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Help with mobility and transfers safely
• Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to supervisors
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
