Suburban Community Medical Group in Montgomery County seeks a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support patient care, transport patients, and perform receptionist duties across nursing areas.

The role also provides observer services for patients requiring constant observation and requires careful documentation. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, MA/RMA certification within 2 years, and BLS; 1–2 years in a healthcare office is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or a Registered Medical Assistant within 2 years of hire.
• 1-2 years in general or healthcare office, preferred.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred.
• Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical staff services department and/or acute care hospital experience, preferred.
• BLS certification
• Needs to be an experienced caregiver and have practical office training.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in patient care across nursing areas and safely transports patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Provides observer services for patients needing constant observation and documents services.
• Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate clinic operations.
