Job summary

Indiana University Health's Riley Children’s Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Navigator for the Pediatric Hematology program. You will coordinate care across both outpatient and inpatient settings, guiding families through diagnostics, treatments, and follow-up while collaborating with physicians, social workers, and pharmacists.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN with BSN preferred, active Indiana RN license, 3–5 years of pediatric nursing experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Indiana RN license or NLC license.
• 3–5 years nursing experience preferred; pediatric hematology/oncology experience encouraged.
• BLS certification required; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Schedule appointments, tests, and referrals; coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Manage refills, school notes, FMLA documentation, and other care needs.
• Triage calls and determine interventions with providers; monitor lab results and communicate findings.
