Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Monroe, NC. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with pay range $15–$18/hour. You will provide one-on-one pediatric home health care, assist with ADLs, mobility, and following individualized care plans in patients’ homes.

Applicants must be 18+, hold NC CNA and CPR certifications, complete TB testing, and read and document care accurately. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Active North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Current CPR certification; TB test or screening as required.
• Valid government-issued identification.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Ability to document care accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical requirements including ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel and lift for patient care.
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility activities.
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work in a home care environment safely and effectively.
• Experience with pediatric or medically fragile patients (preferred).
• Home health experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility activities.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Follow care plans and caregiver instructions.
• Document care as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients and families.
• Communicate patient concerns and observations to clinical staff.
