Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Patient Care Technician (PRN) to support the CICU with essential patient care tasks. Shadowed by Registered Nurses, you will monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, and help ensure patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience in a health care facility.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patients with everyday needs (hygiene, restroom, grooming).
• Monitor vital signs or EKG signals and patient condition.
• Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
• Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies and linen.
• Provide emotional support to patients.
• Place patient on cardiac monitor.
• Perform blood sugar checks.
