Job summary

ModivCare in New York is seeking a Certified Caregiver - PCA/HHA to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care. Earn $18.65 per hour plus referral bonuses through our rewards program, with opportunities to grow and be valued.

You will work in Clifton Park, Malta, Rexford and surrounding areas, delivering comfort, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Must hold NYS PCA or HHA certification and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification.
• Willing to work in Clifton Park, Malta, Rexford, and surrounding areas.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed.
