Job summary

Modivcare is hiring a Certified Caregiver (PCA or HHA) to provide in-home, one-on-one care in Nassau or Queens counties, NY. Earn $19.86 per hour with weekly pay and access to our Caregiver Rewards Program.

We value caregivers who are English-proficient (bilingual preferred), reliable, and comfortable assisting bedbound clients with transfers. Transfer experience and hoyer lift familiarity are a plus; transportation is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification REQUIRED.
• Must be willing to work in Nassau or Queens County.
• Transfer experience required, hoyer lift experience preferred.
• Proficient in English, Bilingual Preferred.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Comfortable working with bedbound clients; transfer or hoyer lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and safe transfers.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
