Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for PRN shifts. You will assist with basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision, including checking vital signs, grooming, and helping patients with mobility and meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as CNA or PCA required or accredited PCA program completion.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Check vital signs and blood glucose as directed.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, hair care and dressing.
• Change incontinence garments and bedpans.
• Assist patients with mobility, meals and transfers as needed.
• Transport patients for tests or procedures and promote patient safety.
