Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace in Longview, WA is seeking a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for NOC shift. The role provides direct resident care, assists with ADLs, and promotes a respectful, supportive environment in alignment with Prestige’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience preferred.
• Must complete and pass competency evaluation within 120 days of employment.
• State-required training including the Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR and HIV training if not able to provide appropriate documentation of prior training.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice, and reports changes to the Health Services Director or Executive Director.
• Assists with activities of daily living, takes vital signs and weights and documents care services and observations.
• Assists residents to dining room and activities; serves meals and assists with dining room and kitchen clean up.
• Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required; follows infection control practices.
• Assists with tours, move-ins/move-outs and transfers; coordinates personal care with coworkers and responds to assistance pages.
• Attends trainings, in-services, and staff meetings.
