Job summary

Prestige Senior Living is seeking a caregiver to provide direct resident care and support a positive living environment. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, documenting observations, and upholding the community's values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.

Responsibilities include assisting with dining, transfers, housekeeping, and participation in training. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; state food handler permit may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR certification. Food Handlers permit if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care, promoting dignity, independence and choice.
• Assists with ADLs, takes vital signs and documents observations.
• Assists residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Performs First Aid and initiates emergency procedures as required.
• Greets residents, visitors and staff and answers phones as assigned.
• Supports infection control practices and reports unsafe conditions.
