Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare or patient support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care.
• Physical stamina to lift and move patients safely.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of patient transport safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely between departments, maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds with proper technique.
• Communicates with nursing staff and physicians to prioritize transport needs.
• Maintains clean, sanitized transport equipment following infection control.
• Follows safety guidelines and reports concerns promptly.
• Moves medical equipment, supplies, and documents as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service and reassurance to patients and families.
• Documents transport activities in logs or electronic systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliable attendance.
