Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center is seeking Per Diem Patient Transporters to move patients, escort them within the facility, and deliver items as needed. Hours vary, including every other weekend, with a starting rate of $20.52/hr.

This role supports patient flow and requires readiness for shifting schedules. Responsibilities include confirming patient details, guiding patients, transporting non-ambulatory patients by wheelchair, and delivering messages and records.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required or within 1 year of employment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 16 or older; working papers if under 18.

Mansioni

• Ascertains patient name, destination, mode of travel, time, and other data per instructions.
• Guides or escorts incoming patients from admitting desk to designated area.
• Carries patient's luggage.
• Assists patient in walking or transports non-ambulatory patient using wheelchair.
• Transports patient within facility using bed, cart, or wheelchair.
• Delivers messages, mail, medical records, and other items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
