Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Part-Time Patient Transporter (20 hours per week) to move patients, equipment, supplies, and medications throughout the hospital. Shift: Noon to Midnight, Every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and equipment between nursing units and other locations.
• Deliver supplies and medications to patient care areas in a timely and accurate manner.
• Inspect, clean and disinfect transportation equipment as per procedures.
• Document transportation activities using the Transport Tracking System and maintain clear communication with staff.
• Provide compassionate, professional service to patients, families and staff.
