Compass Group USA's TouchPoint division is hiring immediately for part-time PATIENT TRANSPORTER positions at Henry Ford Providence Southfield, MI. The role involves safe and timely transport of patients and medical items, with a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs and drainage tubes.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to transport patients.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and clinicians.
• Ensures patient comfort and modesty during transport.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Follows regulatory agency standards including HIPAA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
