Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Part-time Patient Transport Associate to support safe, timely movement of patients, equipment, and items. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to maintain efficiency and patient safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma and Active BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire). Working hours include 6:00am–2:00pm with 2 weekday shifts and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from designated areas using proper equipment.
• Assists patients in and out of vehicles and ensures their safety during transport.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the transport vehicles.
• Monitors and reports any changes in patient condition during transport.
• Follows established safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
