Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator in the Greater Manchester region. You will support clinical staff, coordinate patient transport, and uphold safety and infection control standards within a busy hospital system.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency to relate to patients and read orders.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Reads and logs transport orders and arranges workflow to meet delivery times.
• Provides care during patient transport to ensure comfort and safety (IVs, catheters, oxygen leads).
• Maintains infection control procedures and isolation guidelines as applicable.
• Cleans and inspects transport equipment (wheelchairs, stretchers) daily.
• Transports Interventional supplies between departments as needed.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintains portable oxygen canister supplies on vehicles.
• Works with the Hartford HealthCare team and exemplifies core values.
