Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a hospital or nursing home and current AHA/BLS certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and medical items safely and promptly.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock for patient transport.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Ensures safe and accurate transport to destinations and communicates with clinical teams.
• Maintains patient comfort, privacy and dignity during transport and reports any distress or equipment issues.
