Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Transporter at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. This full-time role requires day schedule 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm with rotating weekends; prior customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients, secures IVs and monitoring devices as needed.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to move patients and equipment.
• Ensures competency across all age groups during transport.
• Delivers patients to destinations as requested with proper equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, and dispatch.
• Ensures patient comfort and modesty while avoiding discomfort or distress.
• Reports equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate team.
• Adheres to HIPAA and patient rights policies and standards.
