Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients between departments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Monitors patient comfort and condition during transport and assists with repositioning.
• Discharges patients and helps with accompanying documentation and transport of specimens when needed.
• Uses dispatch software and equipment to receive orders and document completed services.
