Responsibilities

• Safely escort and transport patients to and from The Brook Hospital-KMI.
• Ensure timely, compassionate transportation and assist patients with connecting to family or housing/shelter.
• Maintain a safe, clean transport environment and report behavioral concerns to supervisor.
• Communicate infectious disease control issues and follow advised outcomes.
• Prepare equipment before discharge and manage routing to keep transport under 8 hours unless approved.
• Follow all policies and procedures as written.
