Job summary

American Addiction Centers (AAC) seeks a dependable Driver to operate our company vehicle and safely transport clients and facility visitors in the Grand Prairie, TX area. This role requires adherence to traffic laws, proper loading/unloading of items, and maintaining a professional, welcoming demeanor for new clients.

The position demands a valid driver’s license with an insurable record, 2+ years of commercial driving experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
Knowledge of DOT regulations governing hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly; ability to provide friendly client service.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicle to transport clients and facility visitors.
Comply with local traffic regulations and company policies.
Load/unload baggage or express items as needed.
Assist passengers entering/leaving the vehicle and maintain a professional demeanor.
Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition; report issues promptly.
Adhere to the company's drug‑free workplace policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
