Job summary

PruittHealth Coastal Central is seeking a Transportation Aide to ensure safe, timely and compassionate transport for patients and residents to appointments, therapies, and activities. You will assist with transfers, provide CNA support, and maintain cleanliness and safety across transport operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and approved outings.
• Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniques.
• Deliver CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactions.
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles.
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies.
• Partner with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations.

Valid driver’s license with clean MVRC

Education
