Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant or Nursing Fundamentals course; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous nursing assistant, medical assistant or related experience preferred; One year hospital clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, hair care, teeth brushing, hand washing).
• Assists with nutrition and feeding, sets up meals and assists with dining.
• Assists with ambulation and fall-prevention measures under RN direction.
• Assists with elimination needs (toilet, bedpan, bedside commode) and monitors inputs/outputs.
• Measures and documents vital signs; reports abnormal values to RN.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
