Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking an attentive Nursing Assistant to collect patient data and support daily care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will help with basic nursing procedures, treatments, and maintenance of patient care equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and monitoring vital signs with RN reporting any abnormalities. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant or Nursing Fundamentals course.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient data under RN direction.
• Assist with basic nursing procedures and treatments.
• Support maintenance of patient care equipment.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination needs.
• Record vital signs and report abnormal values to RN.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
