Highland Palms Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Patient Sitter to join as a part-time, on-call team member. The role focuses on continuous observation, resident safety, and providing companionship and support in a healthcare setting.

You will work with a caring team to monitor activity, report concerns, and assist with non-clinical needs while preserving resident dignity. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to gain healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation and supervision for assigned residents
• Promote a safe and secure environment by monitoring resident activity and reporting concerns promptly
• Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Assist residents with non-clinical needs while maintaining dignity and respect
• Communicate resident concerns, changes in behavior, or safety issues to nursing staff immediately
• Help prevent falls and maintain resident safety at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation as required
• Support nursing and interdisciplinary teams in delivering exceptional resident care
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
