Job summary

You will handle cashiering, posting payments, posting charges, and assist patients with insurance forms while maintaining high patient satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred associate degree and familiarity with ICD-9/CPT coding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate degree in a technical specialty preferred (18 months min).
• Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately, handle pre-certification, charge capture and coding as directed.
• Post payments, balance with reports at day end and explain billing to patients.
• Assist with insurance forms, claims, and patient inquiries regarding accounts.
