Job summary

Avera Eureka Health Care Center is seeking a PRN Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean environment across patient rooms, offices and public areas. The role includes dusting, mopping, stocking supplies, and ensuring linens are delivered as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. This is a Day Shift role in Eureka, SD with competitive pay and flexible PRN scheduling.

• One to three months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.
