Job summary

Capital Health is the region's leader in patient care with investments in physicians, nurses and staff, and advanced technology. This position performs and documents continuous observation under the direction of a registered nurse and assists with basic patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: One year of previous work experience.
• Knowledge and Skills: Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Usual Work Day: 8 Hours

Responsibilities

• Ensures constant attendance throughout shift for assigned patient.
• Ensures patient is visible at all times.
• Keeps company with patient and helps with eating and other difficult tasks for the patient.
• Removes dangerous items from patient as directed by registered nurse.
• Adapts willingly to changing department demands.
