Job summary

The role requires a High School Diploma and 2+ years in foodservice or customer service, with ServSafe certifications expected within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ foodservice or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of modified diets is a plus.
• ServSafe Food Handler and Allergen certifications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide meals to patients in a professional, courteous, timely manner.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and assist Nursing on assigned floors.
• Operate the patient meal room service call center and enter orders into nutrition software.
• Enter menu selections accurately and verify diet orders and allergies.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and safety procedures.
