Job summary

OhioHealth in Kentucky is seeking a Nutrition Services team member to support patient meal service at an OhioHealth care site. You will assemble, deliver and pick up meal trays and help ensure meals meet safety and timing standards.

No degree or diploma is required. This 40-hour, day-shift role involves patient interaction, stocking, and using department computer systems to print reports and update diet orders.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma.
• Individuals aged 16-18, without a High School Diploma/GED with an applicable work permit may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient meal orders, assemble, distribute and retrieve meal trays in a timely manner while communicating clearly with dietitians, nursing and OhioHealth associates.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors and associates to meet service standards.
• Clean and stock work stations, pods and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use the department's computer systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments, floor stocks, late trays and record temperatures of unit refrigerators.
