Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Patient Dining Associate for North Shore Medical Center in Miami, FL. You will deliver meals, assist with selections, and ensure adherence to dietary guidelines while coordinating with the dietary team and healthcare staff.

The position is full-time with a 6:30am-6:30pm shift, Monday-Friday and every other weekend. Competitive benefits include vision, health insurance, 401k, PTO, and holidays.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and special dietary needs is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry trays and meal delivery carts.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the facility.

Mansioni

• Deliver patient meals in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist patients with meal selection, modifications, and dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Ensure meals are served at the appropriate temperature per orders.
• Provide assistance to patients during mealtime as needed (cutting food, opening packages).
• Communicate meal preferences and dietary requirements to the dietary team.
• Observe and report changes in a patient’s eating habits or condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, dietitians, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient meal preferences and modifications.
