Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for a full-time PATIENT SERVER near Dell Children’s North in Austin, TX. The role involves patient meal service, tray assembly and delivery, and collaboration with nursing staff to meet dietary needs.

Willing to train, with per diem benefits including free uniforms and meals; schedule includes nights and weekends. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven healthcare hospitality team under Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up.
• Assembles trays according to patients' menu selections on tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and patients' food needs are met.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary working environment and follows HACCP guidelines.
