Job summary

Four County Health & Rehab in our community is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support cooks in meal and dessert preparation, and to help deliver meals and beverages to patients. This full-time role offers pay at $14.70/hour with weekly pay and a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks with meal and dessert preparation for patients.
• Carry trays and serve meals and beverages to patients.
• Clean dining and kitchen areas and sanitize equipment after use.
• Record temperatures and monitor stock levels; follow infection control policies.
• Follow standardized recipes and assist with tray line service.
