The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and basic life support knowledge. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, patient safety focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Familiarity with telehealth concepts and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with and support the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Promote a safe patient care environment and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Conduct patient rounds, anticipate needs, and respond to call lights promptly.
• May assist with virtual safety encounters or telehealth exams as needed.
