Lansdale Hospital, part of Jefferson Health, seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed clinical team. You may collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate telehealth encounters between patients and providers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS/AHA certifications. Expect duties around rounds, safety, and assistive care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope.

• Knowledge of risks in healthcare and how to reduce them.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under licensed clinicians.
• Promotes a safe patient care environment and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Conducts patient rounds, anticipates needs, and responds to call lights promptly.
• May assist with virtual safety and telehealth encounters as needed.
• May facilitate clinical exams remotely using peripheral devices and teleconferencing.
