Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to perform delegated tasks within scope of role.
• Understanding of patient safety and infection prevention principles.
• Good communication with patients, families and the care team.
• BLS certification required; AHA guidelines may be used.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools (Epic, Vidyo) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Support interprofessional team and designated care partners.
• Maintain a safe patient care environment and assist with rounds.
• Assist with supplies and equipment to ensure unit efficiency.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and pages.
• Assist with telehealth encounters as needed.
