Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician/Assistant to support delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

This role performs vital signs, documents in the EMR, maintains safety and cleanliness, follows policy, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient experiences. BLS is required; CNA/CPCT/A preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• CNA/CPCT/A/NCPCT/EMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately record vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Follow policy for procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.
