UK King’s Daughters in Ashland, Kentucky is seeking a patient care assistant for direct, compassionate support in the Emergency Room under supervision of licensed professionals. You will assist with vital signs, admissions and transports, documentation, and daily activities while maintaining safety, privacy, and infection control practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, CPI, and SRNA certification where applicable; 0–1 year healthcare experience preferred; full-time

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical training in a relevant area preferred.
• 0–1 year healthcare experience preferred; compensated as appropriate.

Mansioni

• Assist patient care with routine tasks under supervision.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transport.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and observations.
• Communicate patient information to healthcare team and participate in hand-offs.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and proper equipment storage.
• Comply with privacy, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
