Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient care team. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and report changes under supervision of a nurse.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, at least 6 months of direct patient care experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Maryland CNA registration and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months direct patient care preferred.
• Must read and write English to document patient information and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety to assigned patients under nurse supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Observe and report patient condition changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and supply areas.
