Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support a patient population under the direction of a registered nurse. You will provide direct and indirect care as part of the interdisciplinary team, focusing on patient comfort, safety, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent programs.
• Completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program or nursing Fundamentals program or HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or equivalent background.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to patient needs, and work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Communicate with patients and health care team regarding patient status.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning from admission to discharge.
